The purpose of the Women’s Ministry is to unite all the women of the church in order to make Jesus Christ known throughout the community, to deepen the spiritual life of each of its participants and to develop a program of Prayer, Education and Service.
Our program will create opportunities for women of all ages and status to use their gifts and talents to uplift one another and to nurture an attitude of service and helping. It exists to encourage women to be fulfilled, responsible, active Christians who live out the concepts of scripture everyday.
If we truly believe that God has gifted and called each of us for His purposes here on earth, then we must not squander the incredible talent and wisdom given to the women of our congregation. Our challenge is to help them discover their abilities and utilize them in service within and beyond EPCC. We need to extend and encourage involvement beyond a consistent core group, to those who just attend worship but are not yet connected in any other way.
